Responsibilities
- Develop AI roadmaps for 2026+ products, anticipating societal and technological shifts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI systems with 10x efficiency improvements
- Conduct horizon scanning across quantum computing, biotech, and neuro-interfaces
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and external stakeholders at global tech forums
- Mentor junior futurists and establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling innovation proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field with 10+ years AI strategy experience
- Published research in top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching AI products with >1M users
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of AGI safety and alignment frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Experience securing government grants or corporate partnerships
