Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 markets
- Develop comprehensive future scenario models and strategic roadmaps for 3-5 year innovation pipelines
- Partner with R&D teams to validate emerging technologies and assess commercial viability
- Present future insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narrative frameworks
- Establish cross-functional foresight protocols and innovation governance frameworks
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) strongly preferred
