Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable energy sectors
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to guide R&D investments and product roadmaps
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and business strategists
- Produce visionary whitepapers and executive briefings for stakeholder decision-making
- Identify emerging risks and ethical implications of disruptive technologies
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning and quantitative/qualitative trend analysis
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse audiences (technical to C-suite)
- Experience with AI/ML tools for predictive modeling and pattern recognition
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ major innovation initiatives with measurable impact
