Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology sectors
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for emerging disruptive technologies
- Present strategic foresight briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage patent portfolios and IP strategy for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders program
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford research labs on joint ventures
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or R&D leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals on exponential technologies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging tech innovations
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing and synthetic biology ecosystems
- Experience securing $10M+ in government innovation grants
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global collaboration
