As a key member of our executive strategy team, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global partners to identify paradigm shifts in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech. You'll translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies that position Horizon Dynamics as an industry pioneer.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives to map technological and societal trends through 2026
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prioritize innovation investments in quantum AI and biotech
- Author compelling future-state scenarios for board-level decision-making
- Establish industry thought leadership via whitepapers and conference keynotes
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-tech R&D
- Proven track record translating trends into enterprise-level strategies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in top-tier industry publications
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFIP) preferred
