Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology foresight frameworks using trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead innovation workshops identifying disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Produce executive-grade strategic briefs translating foresight into actionable business roadmaps
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-forward solutions with 18-24 month horizons
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing new industry foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Published thought leadership in tech foresight (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Proficiency in data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI) for trend analysis
- Experience aligning foresight with commercialization in Fortune 500 environments
- Track record of launching products/services based on 2020+ predictions
