- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, bio-integration)
- Partner with R&D to align innovation roadmaps with future market demands
- Deliver executive-level trend briefings and future-state workshops
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness across organizational functions
- Publish thought leadership on next-generation societal shifts
- Mentor junior futurists in applied futures methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into business strategy
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and scenario modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFCS, APF)
