Responsibilities
- Develop and operationalize the 2026 Strategic Innovation Framework through quarterly horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional pods in prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces and decentralized governance systems
- Author the annual 'State of Futures' report for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish ethical guardrails for neurotech and biometric integration in public infrastructure
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning methodologies and systemic risk assessment
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University for collaborative research
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Cognitive Science (10+ years experience)
- Proven track record of scaling ethical AI frameworks in regulated industries
- Expertise in quantum computing applications and decentralized governance models
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures journals (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Fluency in systems dynamics modeling and Monte Carlo scenario simulation tools
- Demonstrated success in securing $5M+ R&D funding for speculative research initiatives
- Security clearance for national infrastructure projects (or ability to obtain)
