Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology vision roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario planning workshops to model potential futures and their business implications
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with corporate strategy
- Produce forward-looking research reports and thought leadership content for industry audiences
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, bioinformatics) for commercial viability
- Establish strategic partnerships with research labs and academic institutions
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight, R&D, or technology innovation roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term technology roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
