Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026
- Develop and publish strategic foresight reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Build and maintain global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies and product roadmaps
- Represent the company at international conferences and thought leadership forums
- Oversee development of AI-driven trend analysis tools and predictive models
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, trend analysis, or future-focused consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and disruptive technology assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for communicating complex futures
- Experience publishing thought leadership in futurism or innovation publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from WFS or ACIF) strongly preferred
