Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities/disruptions through 2030
- Develop actionable innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into strategic planning
- Design and facilitate future scenario workshops with cross-functional teams
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on 2026 tech/societal shifts
- Drive R&D investments in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership on technology/societal transformation
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
