Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast disruptive technologies through 2026 using proprietary foresight methodologies
- Develop strategic roadmaps for clients in biotech, space exploration, and climate tech sectors
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for Fortune 500 executives on emerging risks and opportunities
- Publish thought leadership in partnership with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio for experimental R&D initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and pattern recognition techniques
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at Davos, Web Summit, and similar global forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight with Fortune 100 consulting experience
- Published author on technological disruption with minimum 3 peer-reviewed papers
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools and predictive analytics platforms
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum, AGI, or neurotech
- Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario-planning deliverables for C-suite audiences
