Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 'Horizon 2026' trend reports identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite executives across Fortune 500 partners
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align product roadmaps with future market opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for emerging tech research
- Curate quarterly Future Vision Summits featuring industry pioneers and thought leaders
- Mentor innovation teams in applying foresight methodologies to product development
- Author white papers published in journals like Future Studies Review and Tech Horizon Quarterly
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of publishing trend reports adopted by major corporations
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI, or synthetic biology
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Shell's Two-axes, Delphi method)
- Graduate degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ future-shaping projects implemented by Fortune 500 clients
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and AI trend analysis platforms
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures to diverse stakeholders
