Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop comprehensive scenario-planning models for global tech adoption and regulatory shifts
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate future-focused innovations into product roadmaps
- Deliver executive-level trend briefings and strategic recommendations to board members
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications on AI ethics, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Design and facilitate future-vision workshops for clients and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (Master's/PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, blockchain
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences through compelling narratives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology forecasting (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in global tech environments
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-focused strategies
