Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the 2026 technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and emerging trends.
- Innovation Leadership: Lead the research and development of next-gen technologies, including Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and quantum-safe cryptography.
- System Architecture: Design high-level architecture for complex, large-scale distributed systems that can handle petabyte-scale data.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product management and engineering teams to translate futuristic concepts into actionable technical specifications.
- Talent Development: Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous innovation and technical excellence.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and secure buy-in for bold technological initiatives.
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all architectural decisions adhere to ethical guidelines and regulatory standards for future technologies.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or a related technical field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Future Tech Knowledge: Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, blockchain technology, or quantum computing concepts.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems in high-pressure environments.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
- Agile: Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments with a focus on iterative delivery.
