Responsibilities
- Lead and execute complex software deployments, database migrations, and infrastructure updates during off-peak hours.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot critical production issues, and implement immediate fixes to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Collaborate with the Product and QA teams via asynchronous communication to prioritize weekend maintenance tasks.
- Optimize application code and database queries to enhance speed and efficiency for high-volume weekend traffic.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and security audits to maintain our high standards of data integrity.
- Document technical changes and create runbooks to assist the on-call support team during weekdays.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on React, Node.js, or Python.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of successfully managing full-cycle deployments and handling production outages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Valid US work authorization required.
