Responsibilities
- Lead Weekend Deployments: Own and execute the CI/CD pipeline for critical releases on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.
- System Stability: Monitor production environments, troubleshoot alerts, and resolve critical bugs to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Code Quality: Conduct rigorous code reviews and refactoring sessions to maintain high standards across the codebase.
- Database Optimization: Perform routine database maintenance, indexing, and query optimization during off-peak hours.
- Collaboration: Partner with the on-site Product and QA teams to define weekend sprint goals and deliverables.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for all weekend processes and architectural changes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on full-stack architecture.
- Technologies: Proficiency in React, Node.js, and SQL. Experience with AWS or Azure is highly preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work a consistent weekend shift (e.g., Friday-Saturday or Saturday-Sunday).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with remote teams.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug complex issues under pressure.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
