Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and deep learning pipelines using Python and TensorFlow/PyTorch.
- Lead the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, validation, and productionization.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to optimize model performance and ensure high availability and low latency in production environments.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI research (e.g., NLP, Computer Vision, LLMs) and integrate cutting-edge techniques into our product suite.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of software engineering and best practices.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive strategic decision-making based on model outputs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years dedicated to machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with big data processing tools (Spark, Hadoop) and data visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Plotly).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
