Responsibilities
- Design and implement safety frameworks for Large Language Models (LLMs) and autonomous agents.
- Conduct rigorous auditing of algorithmic outputs to identify and mitigate biases and societal risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ethical constraints into the model training pipeline.
- Develop standardized guidelines for AI transparency and explainability.
- Stay abreast of global AI regulations and advocate for compliant, responsible innovation.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers in best practices for safe AI development.
Qualifications
- Masterβs degree or PhD in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning, AI Research, or a related technical discipline.
- Deep understanding of AI safety concepts including adversarial attacks, RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback), and interpretability.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically about the societal impact of emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
