Responsibilities
- Architect & Deploy: Design, train, and deploy state-of-the-art Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal AI systems for high-traffic production environments.
- Pipeline Optimization: Engineer efficient MLOps pipelines to reduce inference latency and optimize compute costs at scale.
- Research & Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI research, implementing novel architectures and fine-tuning techniques to push the boundaries of model capability.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and designers to translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive, user-centric applications.
- Ethical AI: Ensure all deployed models adhere to strict safety guidelines, bias mitigation protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation within the AI squad.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, specifically within the NLP and Generative AI space.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
- Model Expertise: Proven track record of fine-tuning, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and deploying foundation models (e.g., GPT-4, Llama, Claude).
- Infrastructure: Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex performance bottlenecks and optimize neural network architectures.
