We are seeking a visionary Senior AI Engineer to lead our data science initiatives, focusing on predictive crowd analytics, real-time fan engagement, and logistical optimization for one of the world's largest sporting events.
The Role:
In this high-impact position, you will build and deploy machine learning models that process millions of data points in real-time to ensure seamless operations and unforgettable experiences for millions of fans. You will bridge the gap between complex data engineering and user-centric product design.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable machine learning pipelines for crowd density prediction and traffic flow optimization.
- Integrate AI-driven insights into the official fan app to provide real-time venue navigation and security alerts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX/UI, DevOps, Event Operations) to translate data models into actionable user interfaces.
- Maintain and optimize big data infrastructure (Spark, Kafka) to handle high-velocity event data.
- Mentor junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Ensure all AI models comply with privacy regulations and ethical AI standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science roles.
- Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/GCP), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with big data processing tools such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
