Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of large-scale machine learning models and distributed systems.
- Drive the optimization of inference pipelines to ensure low-latency, high-throughput performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including researchers, product managers, and engineering leads.
- Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, security, and scalability in AI workloads.
- Research and evaluate emerging AI frameworks and hardware accelerators to stay ahead of the curve.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical strategy and roadmap planning.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering and machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure), and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Proven track record of deploying AI models into production environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
