Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, high-performance machine learning and deep learning systems for production deployment.
- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of AI models, from data ingestion to model serving.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Engineering, Product) to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.
- Optimize existing models for latency, cost, and throughput to ensure real-time performance.
- Establish best practices for MLOps, including CI/CD for ML, experiment tracking, and model governance.
- Ensure AI systems adhere to ethical guidelines and safety standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering and machine learning.
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Deep understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with vector databases and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, scalable systems under tight deadlines.
