Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen AI Systems: Design and implement cutting-edge machine learning architectures focused on scalability, efficiency, and the specific challenges of 2026-era computing environments.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead research projects exploring emerging paradigms such as Neuro-Symbolic AI, AGI readiness, and real-time predictive modeling.
- Model Optimization & Deployment: Oversee the fine-tuning, quantization, and deployment of large-scale models (LLMs) using PyTorch and TensorFlow, ensuring low-latency inference in production environments.
- Future-Proofing Strategy: Collaborate with the CTO to define technical roadmaps that anticipate regulatory changes and technological breakthroughs up to the year 2026 and beyond.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor a team of junior data scientists and ML engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and rigorous experimentation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and legal teams to ensure AI solutions align with business objectives and adhere to emerging ethical AI standards.
Qualifications
- Advanced Degree: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field is strongly preferred.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing systems (Kubernetes, Docker).
- AI Expertise: Proven experience designing and deploying Generative AI models and LLMs with a focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and fine-tuning.
- System Design: Strong background in designing scalable backend systems and data pipelines capable of handling petabyte-scale datasets.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle ambiguous problems and derive innovative solutions in unstructured environments.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
