Responsibilities
- Architect & Design: Lead the end-to-end architectural design of AI-driven solutions for the 2026 Horizon initiative, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Strategic Roadmap: Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps, setting the vision for AI evolution over the next 5 years.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of junior and mid-level data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Performance Optimization: Oversee the optimization of large-scale neural networks and data pipelines to reduce latency and improve inference accuracy.
- Technical Strategy: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., quantum-ready algorithms, edge computing) to stay ahead of industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define product requirements and deliver high-impact features.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in leading AI/ML architecture.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and experience with distributed systems (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Cloud Expertise: Strong experience deploying models on AWS, Azure, or GCP with a focus on serverless architectures.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems in high-stakes environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
