Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable 2D rendering engines using the HTML5 Canvas API and SVG technologies.
- Optimize rendering performance for complex visualizations and ensure smooth 60fps animations across devices.
- Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect 2D interfaces and interactive elements.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex rendering issues in cross-browser environments.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Stay current with emerging web graphics standards and implement best practices for accessibility and responsiveness.
- Contribute to the technical design of the frontend architecture, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development with a specific focus on 2D graphics and interactive web applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, including advanced styling techniques.
- Deep understanding of the Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and WebGL (a plus).
- Experience with performance profiling tools (Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse) to optimize rendering and load times.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
