Nebula Creative Systems is looking for a visionary Senior 2D Interactive Developer to join our elite engineering team in San Francisco. We are building the next generation of digital experiences, and we need a master of the Canvas API and SVG to bring our creative vision to life.
In this role, you will be responsible for architecting high-performance 2D graphics solutions that are not only visually stunning but also incredibly responsive. You will work closely with designers and product managers to translate complex creative concepts into robust, scalable code.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance 2D interactive graphics using HTML5 Canvas, WebGL, and SVG.
- Optimize rendering performance to ensure 60fps animations on mobile and desktop devices.
- Create custom 2D physics engines and particle systems for interactive storytelling.
- Maintain and refactor legacy 2D rendering code to improve maintainability and scalability.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement pixel-perfect visual effects.
- Stay abreast of emerging web graphics technologies and propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D web graphics development.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Deep understanding of the Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and CSS animations.
- Experience with WebGL (Three.js or Pixi.js) is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
