Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the technical vision for 2026, identifying emerging technologies like Quantum Computing and Advanced AI to integrate into our core architecture.
- System Design: Design highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure distributed systems capable of handling petabyte-scale data streams.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead research initiatives to prototype next-generation interfaces and backend frameworks, ensuring we remain ahead of industry standards.
- Code Governance: Establish architectural best practices, code reviews, and technical standards to ensure maintainability and performance across the engineering team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and data scientists to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Legacy Modernization: Lead the migration of legacy infrastructure to microservices-based architectures, optimizing for speed and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior architectural or staff engineering role.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Python, Go, Rust, or C++. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Future Tech: Demonstrated experience or keen interest in AI/ML integration, Edge Computing, and Quantum computing concepts.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead high-performance engineering teams and mentor junior developers.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; capable of presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a track record of solving complex scalability and performance challenges.
