Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-scale deployment
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 10,000+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum-classical hybrid system integration
- Optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ and fault-tolerant hardware
- Create quantum security frameworks resistant to 2026-era cyber threats
- Document quantum system specifications and performance benchmarks
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints (superconducting, trapped ion)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain DoD/NASA clearance
