Responsibilities
- Design and deploy next-gen quantum computing infrastructure supporting AI model training at petabyte scale
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing fault-tolerant quantum networks across 3 US data centers
- Develop cryptographic protocols for post-quantum encryption systems
- Architect hybrid cloud-quantum platforms for Fortune 500 clients
- Drive quantum algorithm optimization for real-time analytics pipelines
- Present quarterly roadmaps to C-suite stakeholders with ROI projections
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum mechanics and distributed systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or equivalent practical experience with 5+ years
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Proven track record deploying production quantum systems (IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning algorithms
- Experience with AWS Braket or Azure Quantum services
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD quantum projects
