You'll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to solve humanity's most complex challenges while advancing quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cryogenic quantum processor cooling systems with sub-10mK stability
- Develop photonic interconnect networks for quantum-classical hybrid computing
- Architect quantum-safe cryptographic infrastructure for 2026-era networks
- Optimize AI-driven quantum error correction algorithms
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators into existing HPC environments
- Document quantum system specifications and compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum hardware-software co-design
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and dilution refrigerator systems
- Proficiency in quantum circuit simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
- Experience with photonic integrated circuits and superconducting qubits
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum error correction
- Certification in quantum security protocols (NIST IR 8100)
- Published research in Nature/Science quantum computing journals
