Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for next-gen networks
- Architect hybrid classical-quantum computing infrastructure with <1ms latency
- Develop error-correction frameworks for 10,000+ qubit quantum processors
- Create fault-tolerant quantum annealing systems for optimization challenges
- Lead integration of quantum sensors with classical IoT ecosystems
- Establish quantum-safe communication protocols across distributed networks
- Optimize quantum gate operations using photonic and superconducting technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum-resistant cryptography
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Security clearance for DoD quantum research initiatives preferred
