Responsibilities

- Develop error correction protocols for multi-qubit quantum processors operating at millikelvin temperatures
- Integrate photonic interconnects with superconducting qubits to achieve entanglement distribution across metropolitan networks
- Automate quantum resource allocation using machine learning algorithms for dynamic workload balancing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate cryogenic control systems and optimize quantum gate fidelity
- Lead security audits for quantum-encrypted communication channels against emerging cyber threats
- Document quantum system specifications and create predictive models for scalability to 10,000+ qubit systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC) and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit control systems
- Strong background in distributed systems, network protocols, and high-performance computing
