Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures supporting 10,000+ qubit systems by 2026
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for industrial deployment
- Lead quantum network optimization across continental-scale fiber infrastructure
- Create thermal management systems for cryogenic quantum processors
- Implement quantum-safe encryption protocols for critical infrastructure
- Mentor quantum engineering teams in emerging topological qubit technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in scaling quantum systems beyond 100 qubits
- Expertise in quantum error correction algorithms and fault-tolerant designs
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting circuits
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects preferred
