Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for error correction and optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Author peer-reviewed publications for top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $5M+ in federal research grants for 2026 quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Prototype quantum hardware interfaces using Python and Qiskit
- Present findings at international quantum computing symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Publication record in quantum computing research (minimum 5 papers)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction techniques (surface codes, LDPC)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Security clearance eligibility for government-funded projects
