Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Optimize quantum circuit performance for NISQ and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Secure $5M+ in government and private quantum research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Expertise in quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints (superconducting, trapped ion)
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
