Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead quantum error correction research for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $2M+ in government and private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing methodologies
- Develop patent-pending quantum solutions for commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience securing NSF or DoE research grants
- Proven track record of translating theory to practical applications
