Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop novel quantum error-correction techniques for fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate and optimize quantum processor performance
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives with NASA and academic partners
- Publish breakthrough findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Develop quantum software SDKs for enterprise adoption
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Published work in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement, superposition, and decoherence
- Experience with quantum hardware calibration protocols
