Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications

- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in top-tier quantum journals
- Mentor junior researchers and organize quarterly quantum symposia
- Secure government and private funding for quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics with 3+ years research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Quil)
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic systems and microwave control electronics
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into actionable research roadmaps
