Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experiments with 100+ qubit quantum processors
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent applications
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams in AI and materials science
- Secure federal research grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
- Drive commercialization of quantum solutions for enterprise clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap systems
- Proven ability to secure research funding
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
