Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical industry applications
- Collaborate with physicists to optimize qubit stability and error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum solutions for enterprise clients
- Author peer-reviewed publications and contribute to open-source quantum libraries
- Present breakthrough findings at international conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
- Maintain compliance with NIST quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level hardware optimization
- Publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Strong analytical skills for complex problem-solving in probabilistic systems
- Excellent written communication for technical documentation and grant proposals
