Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead experiments on 128+ qubit quantum processors to validate theoretical models
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum processor architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation initiatives
- Secure research grants and partnerships with national quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum error correction or algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum simulation frameworks (Cirq, Quil)
- Deep understanding of quantum information theory and topological quantum computing
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms or trapped ion systems
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills with high-performance computing knowledge
