Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate quantum decoherence
- Publish research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor PhD interns on quantum machine learning frameworks
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA/NIST research grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years with Qiskit or Cirq frameworks
- Published work in quantum error correction techniques
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and tensor network simulations
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
