Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography and machine learning
- Collaborate with physicists to develop error-corrected quantum systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum- AI hybrid computing models
- Develop scalable quantum software architectures for cloud deployment
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming methodologies
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- Proven expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum algorithms and complexity theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, or D-Wave)
- Publication record in quantum computing research
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects
- Passion for solving problems at the quantum-classical boundary
