Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex problem-solving in cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Conduct experimental research on quantum hardware systems, including qubit coherence and error correction
- Develop novel quantum simulation frameworks to model molecular and material behaviors
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and validate quantum computing architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at leading international conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development in quantum technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strong publication record in top-tier quantum computing or physics journals
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects with measurable outcomes
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics preferred
