Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical 2026-era applications
- Lead research in fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures

- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent innovations
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants through NIH/NSF proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years in quantum computing research with published papers
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Strong background in quantum error correction and topological computing
- Proven ability to translate theoretical models into experimental prototypes
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control
- Demonstrated success in securing government research funding
- Fluency in Python, C++, and low-level hardware interfacing
