Our state-of-the-art facility offers unparalleled resources for quantum experimentation, including 128-qubit processors and cryogenic cooling systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit architecture improvements
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure federal grants and corporate partnerships for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming experience (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency with low-level quantum hardware interfaces
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Experience securing NSF or DoD research grants
- Exceptional problem-solving for NP-hard computational challenges
