Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to enhance system stability and scalability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum cryptography and secure communication protocols
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at international conferences
- Drive commercialization of quantum technologies through industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms, complexity theory, and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Experience with superconducting qubits, ion traps, or photonic quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and statistical mechanics
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical quantum applications
