Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms
- Lead experimental validation on quantum annealing platforms
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate solutions
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent disclosures
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Develop performance benchmarks for quantum-secure protocols
- Participate in NIST post-quantum standardization efforts
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Cryptography
- 3+ years experience with quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Publication record in quantum cryptography or related fields
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm implications
- Expertise in lattice-based cryptography (NTRU, LWE)
- Clearance for government research collaboration (if applicable)
