Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum solutions in AWS Braket
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in quantum computing grants from NSF/DOE
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize classical-quantum models
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing research (Qiskit/Cirq experience)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation frameworks
- Demonstrated grant-writing success for quantum research
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
